Abstract

The contribution summarizes the data on imports of Greek pottery in Marzabotto between the 6th and 4th centuries BC, updated with the most recent studies. Data are analyzed considering the use of vases within the context and the Greek vase trade in the Po Valley and northern Etruria, with specific regard to the territories close to the Apennines. Moreover, some unpublished Attic fragments found in the locality of La Quercia are discussed. The settlement is located south of Marzabotto in the Setta valley, on one of the main connecting roads between Po Valley and northern Etruria.
