Grazie all’occasione rappresentata dalla mostra “(Ri)scrivere il Passato. Il nome etrusco di Chiusi e altre Storie” (Chiusi 2019-20) è stato possibile riprendere lo studio dell’iscrizione etrusca da Chiusi Meiser, ET Cl 2.26. Ciò ha permesso di aggiornare e correggere la lettura tradizionalmente accettata, giungendo a una nuova lettura più coerente, con il riconoscimento di una chiara espressione locativale. Ciò apre nuove prospettive per l’interpretazione del testo, secondo ipotesi che gli autori sviluppano autonomamente.
Thanks to the exhibition “(Ri)scrivere il Passato. Il nome etrusco di Chiusi e altre Storie” (Chiusi 2019-20) it has been possible to reconsider the study of the Etruscan inscription Meiser, ET Cl 2.26 from Chiusi. This reconsideration has permitted the revision and correction of its traditionally accepted reading and the emergence of a new, more coherent one, with the identification of a clear locative expression. This opens new prospects for the interpretation of the text, according to hypotheses which each author develops autonomously.
